Manage contacts

In this article, we’ll show you how to manage contacts in ProCharted once you’ve set them up.

  • 1. Your contacts list is your hub of client information in ProCharted. Individual contacts have a navy icon, while organizational contacts have a purple icon. Click on the "Archived" tab to view archived contacts.

  • 2. Click on a contact to navigate to their information. Use the tabs at the top to navigate between the main profile, client work items, notes, and billing.

  • 3. In the "Contact Info" section, click on "Edit" to update details like tax ID, email address, physical location, and other info.

    Note: Organizational contact types will have slightly different information than Individual contact types.

  • 4. You can also click on "Add Work" to add work items associated with this client.

  • 5. Click on "Linked Profile" to connect the contact with an another ProCharted contact.

  • 6. “Add Note” allows your team to add any text notes you’d like to keep for this contact. In this section, you can also add an @ mention to tag another team member.

  • 7. Create an invoice for the contact by clicking on "Add Invoice." You'll be automatically redirected to Billing, where you can fill in their details.

  • 8. You can also click on "Add File" to add files including .pdfs, images, and most other file types to keep all their information in one place.
